In 8 weeks of “Accent Addition” training, ACT by Vidal instructors teach participants how to add Canadian accents to their repertoire. Our instructors equip newcomers with a set of tools to:
- Communicate clearly – to minimize people from asking you to repeat yourself
- Speak with confidence – when speaking to staff, management, and community members
- Exclusive class sizes – more individualized attention
ACT by Vidal's Accent Addition Training includes:
- A comprehensive assessment to identify communication gaps
- 2 hour sessions twice a week
- A workbook to continue practicing at home; weekly home practice assignments are given to reinforce new speech patterns
- A post- assessment of your spoken English and a final written summary outlining specific goals and strategies to help you continue to improve your speech sound production and pronunciation skills

REQUIREMENTS
Participants must have:
- An intermediate level of English (at least a CLB level 6)
- A desire to improve verbal communication skills
- A commitment to participate in class and practice English outside of class
- An eager and willing attitude to learn
*In order to qualify for the 50% improvement guarantee, (i) students must begin the program at an intermediate to advanced English language level, and (ii) students must complete all homework assignments, and practice independently with the given materials for at least 30 minutes daily for the full duration of the course.
